A bipartisan U.S. congressional delegation met Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the morning of September 30. Following the meeting, delegation members took questions from the media on their audience with His Holiness, the United States’ position on China, the recent meeting between President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping, press freedom and U.S.–Tibet relations.
