Every Wednesdays, Tibetans celebrate the Lhakar movement as a non cooperation movement that started from inside occupied Tibet. The literal meaning of Lhakar is white Wednesday. Wednesdays are the aupicious or the soul days of his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This past week, Tibetans all around the world celebrated the Tibetan national identity preservation week by carrying out various activities in preserving and strengthening the linguistic, cultural, and religious heritage of tibet.
