Witness to History: The Extraordinary Journey of Thupten Tenzin Part Two: From Norway to Mustang In Part One, Thupten Tenzin la took us back to his childhood and monastic life in Tibet, his memories of the Chinese invasion and the 1959 uprising in Lhasa, his escape from Tibet, and his journey to England and Norway with Tibetan students. But his story did not end there. After arriving in Norway in 1964, he learned photography and motion pictures. His camera later took him to Mustang, where he captured rare and exclusive photographs of Tibetan guerrillas undergoing training.
