22 US Citizens Among 80 Member Isha Group Missing In Nepal

KATHMANDU — Twenty-two U.S. citizens are among an 80-member group associated with the Isha Foundation that remains unaccounted for after flash floods struck near the Nepal-Tibet border on August 26.

The group, traveling with Isha Sacred Walks, also includes 12 from Canada.

An Instagram post by Dallas resident Akash Mahtani said his parents, Deepak Ahuja and Madhu Ahuja, both U.S. citizens, were among those unaccounted for. It is learned the couple made the pilgrimage in celebration of Deepak Ahuja turning 60.
