Nepal issues a fresh alert after information of another dam burst on the Tibetan side, as rescue operations continue following floods that killed 469.

At least 469 people have been confirmed dead across Nepal and Tibet, while over 1,400 people remain missing, according to authorities.

Heavy rain in the area raised fears that a lake formed by debris from the landslide could breach its banks, sending another surge of water downstream.

Houses, bridges, roads, and other vital infrastructure were either destroyed or severely damaged. On the Chinese side of the border, the mudslide also inundated the Gyirong port.
