The march was flagged off by Sikyong Penpa Tsering in Dharamsala on Thursday. Tharchin says the march aims to keep alive the flame of the Tibetan freedom movement sparked by Lobga Rangzen’s sacrifice. He expressed concern that the momentum could fade once the 49-day mourning period ends, and said the march is intended to carry his aspirations and message forward.
