A Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) from the Tibet-Nepal border may impact the Gandak river basin, NDRF Commandant Gyaneshwar Singh said. NDRF has deployed teams across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh for floodwater rescue operations. The MHA, state governments and Central Water Commission are closely monitoring the situation.
