Kathmandu [Nepal], September 5 (ANI): South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday for a three-day visit to discuss cooperation and assistance in the search for South Korean citizens missing following the devastating Bhotekoshi floods and landslides.

According to South Korean Yonhap news agency, Cho was scheduled to meet his Nepali counterpart Shisir Khanal and other Nepalese government officials to discuss Seoul’s support for search-and-rescue efforts and long-term cooperation, including reconstruction.

“I will have talks with Nepal’s foreign minister (Shisir Khanal) tomorrow and also meet with other Nepalese government officials," Cho told reporters after arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, according to Yonhap. “With the Nepalese government, I will discuss issues regarding rescue efforts and also our long-term cooperation in areas including reconstruction."
