Shimla: On 31 August 2026, Kalon Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi of the Department of Religion and Culture, CTA, visited Tibetan communities and institutions under the jurisdiction of the Chief Representative Office of Shimla, including Jonang Takten Phuntsok Chöling, its affiliated old age home, and the Shimla Sambhota boarding and Day School.
Beginning at 9:00 am, the Kalon visited elderly and disadvantaged members of the Tibetan community in Tritenling, Tashi Teng and Chime Ling. He later attended an online meeting of the Board of Directors of the Norbulingka Institute of Tibetan Culture at the Chief Representative Office.
