Dharamshala: On 20 August 2026, marking the 49th day since Tibetan martyr Lobsang Palden (alias Lobga Rangzen) set himself ablaze in protest against China’s continued repression inside Tibet and the recently implemented “Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress Law,” the 17th Kashag and the 18th Tibetan Parliament in Exile will jointly organise a peaceful march in Dharamshala to honour his sacrifice and commemorate all those Tibetans who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of Tibet.
