Led by former TYC President and former Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile member Tsewang Renzin, the delegation presented six demands, urging the UN to recognize Tibet as an independent nation and implement existing UN resolutions on Tibet. They also called for United Nation pressure on China to end colonial-style boarding schools and the newly implemented Ethnic Unity Law, and requested a UN visit to the site of Lobga Rangzen’s self-immolation.
