On Saturday, July 18, 2026, hundreds of Tibetans gathered in Dharamshala for a protest march against China’s newly implemented so-called “Ethnic Unity” Law and paying tribute to late Tibetan activist and Pawo Lobga Rangzen la. The demonstration was jointly organised by Tibetan non-governmental organisations (NGOs) based in Dharamshala and Tibet Support Groups in solidarity with the Tibetan people’s continued struggle against China’s repression and Sinicization policies.
