Tibetan Youth Congress announced a new campaign on July 27 to counter what it described as Chinese propaganda about Pawo Lobga Rangzen and the wider Tibetan narrative. As part of the initiative, TYC will open a dedicated office in New York, led by two former Executive Committee members. The organization called on Tibetans from all professional backgrounds in New York to join the campaign, amplify Tibetan voices, and challenge misinformation about Tibet and Rangzen’s self-immolation outside the United Nations. TYC said the effort would use documentation, research, art, media, and public voices to respond to Chinese narratives.
