At a time when Tibetan identity and language continue to face growing pressure under Chinese rule, his journey becomes a powerful act of nonviolent resistance. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of peaceful protest, Kalsang walks through harsh mountain terrain, enduring physical hardship and solitude with one goal: to remind Tibetans and the world that a language is the soul of a nation. His march is also dedicated to the memory of Lobga Rangzen, the Tibetan activist who self-immolated outside the United Nations Headquarters just one month earlier. By dedicating every step of his journey to Lobga Rangzen's sacrifice, Kalsang honors his courage while carrying forward his message of hope, resilience, and the ongoing struggle for Tibet. Featuring exclusive interviews and intimate, on-the-ground footage, this documentary explores not only one man's extraordinary journey but also the broader fight to protect the Tibetan language, culture, and identity for future generations.
